Our Work
FFLX seeks to create healthy bodies, minds, communities, and ultimately a healthy nation and world. Our nation is facing a health crisis of epidemic proportions. Not because of lack of food, but more due to a lack of education and culture. By providing the nations students with culinary, cultural, environmental, and social education via practical, hands on demonstrations and interactive workshops, FFLX hopes to improve the quality of life for all its participants and all generations to come.
In a nation overwhelmed by mental health issues and physical maladies related more to improper or over-eating then lack of food, we strongly feel the deepening of peoples relationships with their food, family, community, and nation is of the utmost importance. Sustainable Living Community Center
The finishing touches are being put on our new center in Pittsburgh. Less then one mile from both Carnegie Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh, this will serve as a permanent and easily acessable sustainable resource. Learn More >

Educational Workshops
Food For Life Experince is leading the way to a new and sustainable future for America. Through weekly educational workshops at Carnegie Mellon University and The University of Pittsburgh, we hope to introduce the next generation of leaders to the knowledge and ideas necessary to live healthy, balanced, happy, and sustainable lives.
